we find SPAs quicker because customer approved HTML needs less change, and UI state doesn't need to be remembered across postbacks

we do use knockout though, a very light touch SPA framework.

Your context is incorrect. To build websites of the past SPA is not needed. To build ambitious products of future, they're required
