Job interviews are presently much closer to "asking someone out" than to "SAT exam", but people model them as a test, to excessive stress.

Yeah, if you get 300 on SAT just means you learned how to pass the SAT, still can't use math in real world to problem solve

agreed, but standardized tests suck too. The SAT is outdated and easily gamed. What we need are standardized projects

This is similar to how I approach interviews in my book etc. "Follow this process. You'll score better than most other candidates."

The interview process is definitely not that straightforward. But at least I can teach tactics that work in most cases.
