Has anyone bootstrapped an on-demand coffee service in a big city? Insulation + bikes + min order # + limited time windows. Economics work.
If I were doing it it would be subscription coffee as a service for businesses: we come every morning w/ cold brew/etc for 20.

Interestingly, there are profitable co’s doing it in small markets (e.g. Gainesville, FL), but I’ve never seen one in a big city.

Things that I wouldn't have guessed existed in the world. Thanks, I learn something new every day.

Yep, businesses would be the core customer base — but also consumer angle or groups. Low marginal costs at even medium density.

In Boston, an office can install a tap that dispenses cold-brew coffee: http://bostonbeancoffee.com/cold-beverages-and-water/cold-brew-coffee/ … – it comes in kegs like soda.

We also have Keurig pods, which I hypothesize will beat any delivery service in a blind taste test. Hot & fresh matter.

I don’t know if it is sold as a subscription but this is definitely something you can get done now.
