A thing I miss about my monolith -- no longer easy to just "grep someThing -R ." and find the ultimate sources of various behavior.
We do have Rails, but we also have a collection of microservices written in Go. (My previous projects were Rails monoliths.)

From what I have seen what Rails "makes up" in monoliths is outweighed by method_missing and other meta programming "magic"
