If nobody wanted Starbucks nobody would hand their credit card to a Starbucks cashier. If no one wanted liquidity they'd use limit orders.

@patio11 except Starbucks has inventory and are not simply racing you to the coffee market. -
@pedroreys@patio11 some hft carry inventory. Others are just performing the pricing mechanism (predicting future supply/demand)
