So if your site breaks suddenly on mobile Safari: over the weekend HTTPS sites became not allowed to load HTTP CSS URLs. Hard insecure.
This does *not* appear to be the case with desktop Safari at the moment. 8.0.8 (10600.8.9) Only figured it out by connecting iPhone to Mac.

Coolest trick that I didn't know about two hours ago: you can USB connect an iPhone to your Mac and then use Safari web inspector on both.
