        @patio11 Even for Japan, that's on the low end. $70K is seen as a solid Rails dev salary, still a far cry from the west though.

        @patio11 I took a 50% pay cut to live in Yokohama/Tokyo doing Java almost 10 years ago. That they still undervalue software is no surprise.
