I think I'm going to finally now to reality and get myself a MacBook Pro, mostly because my massive Dell doesn't travel well.
@thomasfuchs What say you? 15 inch w/ Retina and 16 GB adequate for Rails dev?

@patio11 the 13″ is quite good as well and more portable. 15″ allows booting into windows w/ real gfx card -

@patio11 maxed-out 15″ is great. Max ram, fastest processor and I’d get the largest SSD. Great for running Windows in VMs. -
