I love listening to
@tylercowen 's interviews. He goes deeper than most on interview prep, and there are 2-3 questions every interview where the guest seems surprised that he asked something so specific & personal -
My favorite example of this was John McWhorter, who was so clearly delighted by it

that's an incredibly important viewpoint if you want to hire speciicay the people you're interviewing, and a waste of time if you want to hire whoever and are interviewing to screen out the undesireables.
