Interesting to think about what Twitter would be if people mostly tried to identify the best pieces in other people's tweets, and riffed on them, rather than critiquing the bits they don't like.

I've wondered about this too. It's difficult (for me, at least) to avoid engaging with disagreement. With high-quality disagreement that can be good, but with lower-quality disagreement of course the right thing to do is to ignore. But that can be hard to do in practice.

It might help if there was a way to quietly register disagreement, so it's visible if someone wants to see, but not fightin' words.
