So no Patrick, I don’t win every case. I cannot say “I do not try to win every case I bring” because of professional ethics, but I can tell you that law is strategic and pursuing a strategy of always winning would be pursuing a poor strategy.

This reminds me a bit of a saying from a lawyer I know: "early in your career, when you're inexperienced, you'll lose some cases you should have won. But later in your career, you'll win some cases you should have lost. So in the end, justice is served."
