If senior executives aren't doing an internal podcast or something with a similar form-factor but video, you sort of have to wonder what would be the marginal thing worth pushing that 30 minutes every week / two weeks off the schedule.

We had things like that at the front of every all-hands at one of my previous companies. One exec spoke beforehand, usually our media-savvy CEO. When the other guy spoke once, we discovered *nobody* reviewed it for "cut anything too sensitive" (and in this case, clearly illegal.)

Choice quotes were things like, "if you have a disagreement, don't take it to HR. If you file a complaint you feel like it has to be impressive. We all know everybody exaggerates those, right?" Which wasn't *nearly* the worst bit.
