Hey Internets, crazy idea for you: I have tweeted, in the last month, much more about coronavirus in Japan than most English-language reporters know, most of it with links to authoritative sourcing. Can you crowdsource an organized document of that, to help folks get to speed?

"Why don't you do it, Patrick?" How about we go with "I think you may have a comparative advantage over me in being organized and having extra time" which is a true statement but not necessarily my only reason.

"Is there a point to doing this?" If you successfully accelerate the capability of reporters worldwide to understand what they will see in May that might accelerate the ability of many people to make decisions which would save lives on the basis of better reporting. High ROI.

"Would 'many people' rely on English-language reporting?" Consider the set of foreign-owned firms in Tokyo. What do you think is the primary language on the person who makes the ultimate decision as to whether their office is open? Is that person necessarily in Tokyo?
