Interestingly this pushes some theoretical complexity at the programmer to save practical complexity. "If you have competing class definitions at two different places in your program, it's going to be hard to predict which of those two will win. Our recommendation: don't."

Perhaps a generalized version of that insight is that the prodigious amount of time spent in e.g. CS classes language documentation on "If car subclasses vehicle and overrides a method then..." is basically waste since, if any dev in future would need time to think on it, don't.
