I know that every parent is supposed to be proud and think their kid is a genius but I think my daughter may have rediscovered cartography to play video games better.

Thinking this through: Has she ever even *seen* a map? She's seen Dora the Explorer, but the map there is a magical realism character and the knowledge it imparts is narrative, not spatial information. She's never seen a map screen because I didn't think she could read them.

There is, but I immediately turned it off because I didn't want to confuse her with the UI, and instead have been steering her on "Remember which way to get to the raccoons? Really, was it that way last time?" She played this game for *one hour, once.* Having kids is a trip.
