Japan widens state of emergency to include entire nation; designates 11 prefectures as being particular areas of concern. (Up from six prefectures under state of emergency earlier.) NHK reports that some hospitals in Tokyo are refusing to treat suspected coronavirus cases.

I would like to reiterate: If you live in Tokyo or are responsible for people who do, you should comport yourself consistent with a belief that Tokyo is very likely to have a scenario similar to New York. (Tokyo is unlikely to be the only city with a similar experience.)
