        During these trying times, I appreciate the professionalism of those bringing reliable and official information to the public. Some lead. Some choose camera angles. Some offer commentary on subjects they are experts on. And so forth.

        I find it quite confusing to be honest. I must miss the cultural context as to why words need to be hidden between the lines instead of making it clear.

        Is this a culture thing or simply the law not really allowing it at the moment to do it differently? This seems absurd to put Leadership of a country in that kind of risk

        I'm unsure how much the government doing performative distancing as a social queue would help—but I suspect it would. I went out in Tokyo today (after washing hands, wearing mask + nitrile gloves) to procure 🥩🥦🥕, and EVERYBODY was wearing 😷but NOBODY was maintaining distance.
