My feeling is that "I am not in the content business" is entirely the correct take and a key description of good education. And it's also wildly uncommon in tech cliques especially, so we're in for a wild ride as folks who fundamentally misunderstand the thing try to online it.
The feedback loop, however badly performed, is key to the experience. Everyone benefits from hearing the professor answer the smart kids questions.
