A number I've wondered for a long time and chanced upon a citation for: Q: How many new accounts does a typical bank branch bring in annually? A: 300~500.

Incredible. Thank you for sharing. I have tried to find this too and wonder about it almost daily as I pass branch locations in beautiful buildings and prime locations.

Chase still offers the promotion, open an account for $150-$300.

hmmm I don't think that's a fair extrapolation of that statement. to claim that a retail bank branch only opens one new account before lunch, and one after lunch, doesn't pass the sniff test.
