@stripe (cc: @patio11) I’m a bit disappointed by the way you’re drip marketing Stripe Capital with an expiration date.
If my company needed a loan, I’d have acted on the offer. Drip campaigning so I am motivated to take a loan before X date is not putting your customers first.

You can imagine different ways to do that after the business reaches scale and maturity, but for the moment, to meet our commitments to users we do have to cycle through who we're offering money to at any given time, rather than e.g. "If you're underwritable, we have $ for you."

Certainly. If this had been communicated I would have had a totally different perspective of the emails. And rereading them, this is what they attempt to communicate, but without the context, it appears to be a marketing tactic.

Thanks for responding and clarifying! In that context, it makes more sense. Perhaps this is simply something where the email copy is not a reflection of the true intent, and as a result it appears more marketing than operationally constrained. …this happens to all of us.
