This is a surprising answer. Of all companies, I would have assumed Stripe wouldn't operate under the scarcity bias without something like actual value (as described above) laid out in the conversation.

I'm really surprised at the level of variance. 200k is higher than the level differences at FAANG up to really high levels. L5 (Senior at Goog) is 350k~. L6 is much harder to get at the next level.
