👋 Some news! I’m back in SF and just started a fellowship with the @AspenPolicyHub, studying the ways tech has an impact on (or is impacted by) policy. I’ve been passionate about leveraging tech for social impact for awhile & hope to focus on climate change for my project

Would love to hear what the biggest levers you think there are for mitigating climate change with tech & policy, and/or pointers to good people & references if you have any!

P.S. figuring out how to use Twitter better was a 2020 goal of mine... tips on this also welcome ;)

Stealing Kevin Kwok's (@kevinakwok) line: the best use of Twitter is "tapping a tuning fork and seeing who resonates." Single biggest learning: I started more aggressively upgrading "We are in threads together" to "Hey would you like to get coffee/etc next time I'm in [SF.]"

Number two most helpful pattern for me has been using Twitter as a relatively low-friction relatively free-form way to explore ideas when they're early and upgrade the ones which I like and which resonate with people into actual essays (which are much harder for me than musing).

I *love* this advice and your #2 strongly resonates with me—right now I keep getting stuck in writing epically long posts that take forever to finish (remember the Atlas guide?! :)) when I'd much rather share more as I go
