POP QUIZ: You're an expert in an area like fitness or money. A potential client asks you: "Can you share any recipes??" "What's your workout?" "What's the best money app?" What's going on here? And how do you respond?

Granted there are businesses which work nearer to that end of the spectrum, but presumably they devote a lot of work to educating clients like this (and have a model where they can both do that and monetize in some fashion such that it works out).

Is 'sophistication spectrum' a concept I can read about or is it a turn of phrase you've used? Am curious.

EXACTLY. Responding with a coaching attitude can convert these folks into proper leads, but often those clients aren't starting from an ideal spot and bring more issues than they're worth.
