Won a poker tournament yesterday: Eventual #2 (then chip lead) contemptuously to eventual #3 when they had much larger stacks than me, after I shoved #3 off two pair with 8 high: “Snap call. That idiot can have any two.”

Later in game, #3 to me while in hand: “I wonder what you’ve got there.” Me: “According to some, could be any two cards.” He folds, I show another bluff.

So “charge more” when bluffing to get more folds. Got it

Reminds me of another hand, with #2 providing commentary. We're down to like 7 people and I'm relatively deep stacked. I am 9/10 suited in the blinds and call a raise to 3 BB; player has approximately 12 BB behind. I flop the flush, with AKx on the board. I immediately shove.

Other player folds. #2: "No way you should do that." Me: "I thought he might have the queen and an offsuit card." #2: "Yeah then he calls and you lose half the time. Two cards to go." Me: "Yeah but I also look like a weak A/x or a bluff and a lot can call me if they think that"
