Won a poker tournament yesterday: Eventual #2 (then chip lead) contemptuously to eventual #3 when they had much larger stacks than me, after I shoved #3 off two pair with 8 high: “Snap call. That idiot can have any two.”

So “charge more” when bluffing to get more folds. Got it

Reminds me of another hand, with #2 providing commentary. We're down to like 7 people and I'm relatively deep stacked. I am 9/10 suited in the blinds and call a raise to 3 BB; player has approximately 12 BB behind. I flop the flush, with AKx on the board. I immediately shove.

I never show my cards unless I'm leaving. I need to figure out how to add it to my repertoire in a +EV way.

I am not sure whether this is a +EV part of my game, but I typically show 10~20 hands over the course of a tournament especially to "balance out my range" versus hands that people see organically.

bet that tilted him off the face of the planet.

#2 eventually was a good spot about it after TD reminded him he was walking away with 10 buyins but yeah he called down maybe four shoves from me where I was 80% ahead to second nuts.
