Channeling my inner @patio11 here, but it is astonishing how much businesses will spend on X trivial product w/o even thinking.
Not because it's the best, but because it solves the problem at hand & there's way higher priorities than switching for a 10% optimization boost

I think more people should have a good understanding of a) what corporate travel costs and b) how little companies which consume it care about costs on the margin prior to developing intuitions about e.g. SMB-focused SaaS subscription pricing.

If keeping me active in the business isn't worth $30 a day then call the lawyers because it's time to execute an orderly winddown. Capitalism has rendered its verdict; we failed.
