Any good resources on the nuts and bolts on getting started doing sales?
-
somewhat related semi-question: I read "Never Eat Alone" and feel it gave me an appreciation for a mindset that was completely foreign to me. BUT I don't know if sales people are like "yup that's it" or "no actually that guy is a nut"?

Would like to hear more about what you have in mind when thinking about an IC in tech getting involved in sales. Do you mean changing jobs to gain experience, or helping deliver sales some how while also e.g. writing software as day job?
