Heuristic I’ve developed that I‘m slow to execute on: - If someone replies something weird (usually oddly passive aggressive) - I have zero mutuals with them - their timeline is mostly politics (any country) - they follow over 2000 people It’s usually best to soft-block them

Cool - I guess block and unblock + muting would be the full “You are dead to me but I don’t want you to be triggered about being blocked” move.

Part of the reason for Twitter’s social issues is it encourages people to read “you are dead to me” when others only intended “back button; not for me, not right now, thanks”
