If you think for loops are bad, you need to use languages with better for loops

Almost every problem ‘solved’ by those for loops had been introduced by a human, often deliberately, in law etc. And now it needs a programmer to maintain who is also reasonably proficient with the subject matter.

Same for the problems which just need a clever regex pattern written. After working at a central bank, I'm convinced that we could free up an enormous amount of human time and brainpower between your for loops and my regex pattern.
