Tried Cash App because I'm sort of professionally obligated to understand how to move money around. It's amazing how much better UX has gotten in the last few years when someone cares about that and relentlessly optimizes for it.

Aaah good point. I wonder what spend on CashApp card versus withdrawal via ACH is?

I’m having a laugh at the concept of an issuer going to lengths to ensure that they don’t cross the threshold of too much in assets versus the interest in continuing to grow. At a certain point, the interchange rev-share customers bail if/when they go over.

I wonder what would stop an issuing bank from issuing a VISA/MC “credit” product as some sort of ‘dynamic limit secured card’ with 100% securitization in an asset account and adjust limit as asset account balance varies.

Withdrawals from the lined asset account would be applied as payment against “credit” account balance first, reducing present available credit line. Excess withdrawal via ACH, et al, to anywhere. Deposits to asset account would dynamically increase “credit” limit.
