It is a high status and in controversial belief to say that writing makes you better at substantially everything white collar people do. It is more controversial to believe being able to code makes you more effective at everything white collar people do.

“Exploit until the market corrects” is one of my preferred ways to deal with sustained disagreements. I am told this is intellectually bankrupt. I therefore commit to exploiting it until the market corrects.

Apart from writing more - how to get better at writing ? I.e know when your writing is “effective”?
