Memes are recursive. Their nature is the replica, and so hold less and less meaning through propagation. They are essentially false affirmation. Their value is voided through propagation

It’s closer to the opposite of this! Memes evolve the way genes do, through variation and selection. So when people make many different versions of memes and spread them, those memes slowly improve.

I would add to this: adressability is terrible, but *stories* are the best way we’ve found to save these lessons from ephemeral / RAM to the mental HDD.
