this is something only boomers say/think, they see millennials as kids who don't have their life together, who refuse to or incapable of adulting. it's a derogatory term they retract once a millennial owns a house and has kids millennials ourselves know we remain millennials

yeah the only people who use millennial this way are also the same people who buy their adult kids toys for xmas (the kind for children)

They did the same thing with GenX until they got bored and moved on to the next generation to complain about, at which point the GenX concept settled down to a regular demographic category again.
