Am I understanding correctly that you've been fuzzing 3rd party APIs to discover what values for non-essential fields in requests/responses increase the likelihood of the transaction completing successfully and (if possible) swifter than before?

If so, that's a really interesting application of fuzzing—a tool usually used to glean structure of black box code in order to break it. Instead, use it to make your usage of it more efficient!
