Skype billed £10 to my account, but said the payment was refused. Bank says the £10 has gone. Who has got my £10?
Likely a payments intermediary, possibly Skype or the bank. If it is worth your time escalate with the bank; you’ll get it back. (Not worth anyone’s time finding it; system should chalk up to operational losses and move on.)

Microsoft/Skype refused to credit the £10 for 'goodwill' so now they've got my back up and I am going to pursue it.
