We’re a few months into an experiment where we dropped our entry $10 plan and upped the price on our beginning plan to over $50/month. The difference in customer is dramatic.

For Cronitor the LTV on our $24 plan is $775. The LTV on our recently discontinued $69 plan is $6k. The LTV on our $179 plan is... much, much higher. (And hat-tip

This parallels my experience of coaching clients. A client who can only pay < $100 a session is generally at a much earlier stage in their personal growth and discipline, thus finding it harder to implement, thus needing much more attention to get value from the coaching.
