I think this and remote work are the best bull case for WeWork. In 2025, every Fortune 500 company will have 10k+ remote workers, and every purchasing department will approve a reimbursement for WeWork with no questions asked.https://twitter.com/jasonlk/status/1161659165619523584 …

(I also think if you’re a startup with less than, oh, 25 employees and you’re thinking leasing an office rather than doing WeWork you probably are misallocating managerial bandwidth to end up with a worse product.)

As a 1099 or sole proprietor, WeWork is incredibly expensive and inconvenient compared to a home office (for me). I wonder how this is different for W2 employees?

For a W2 employee, the employer is most likely footing the bill.

I'm really excited to see the sub-genres of commercial office space that comes out of WeWork - if WeWork is like an anchor tenant for a major city, it will spawn different cultures of co-working space, & the market will provide far more choices for diff personalities / cultures

My experience is that Regus is soul-sucking, particularly in low-volume locations. Don’t know if WW is near me yet, but if they can deliver anything with a minimum of personality they are already ahead.
