Just opened an Ally savings account for the 1% bonus. It took <250 seconds! I don't know if it's Plaid or just the Plaid spillover effect, but it's gotten a lot easier to do transactions with banks recently.

Do you know how much it helps to have an aged account (decade long) with good history when opening a mortgage w/bank? Is it minuscule if you already have good credit or does the history allow you to negotiated a noticeably better rate?
