Reading the question, I see what happened I think: all respondents were not asked to "rank" countries, but just "what is the most dangerous country by X metric?" Unless you live in Niger, you won't say it, youll forget it exists.

Non-profits benefit quite a bit from the social license to product clickbait which is seen as a Schelling point with material IRL consequences. It's kinda like Gartner except consumers of it understand the model much worse than they do Gartner's. See also: enemy and ally lists.
