Curious how much nibbling there seems to be around Google's products, specifically, because they seem to have minimal ability to ship a v2. I wonder how long it takes before someone funds a search engine for software developers (or etc) just because the variance is high enough.

Somewhat related, i’m constantly blown away by how bad GitHub search is for things like “show me large open source projects that use these three libraries”. Their recent Dependents feature is a start, but not quite there yet

I've had that frustration, too, but never realized what an amazing product they could create if they would put more effort into search.
