That's going to get me to the gym much more effectively than "Hmm it would materially decrease risk of death", which is probably irrational because dying also doesn't maximize for piggy back rides.

To be far darker, I've heard this about how many times adult kids will still see their parents. If you only see you parents twice a year and they are 70... Well expected odds are you will only see them about 20 more times

Unfortunately these types of calculations seem only get more intense over time. Living far from my aging parents is a particularly painful one.
