The distribution is terrible because laws for marketing (authorized “brokers”, ads, etc), rating and pricing risk, and policy language vary across all 50 states. Oscar Health insurance faced similar scale challenges.

Why do you think the product is perfect? Can you elaborate? So you’re also saying only innovation to said product can be had on the marketing side? No way to squeeze better margins on ops side?

People can judge the quality of razors. They use it everyday. Life insurance is used at most once. People don't understand what insurance they need. That is why they go to advisors who easily rip them off by recommending more complex more expensive products than they need.

The first problem is to convince people that term life is perfect. You'll be swimming against a current of "experts" telling them otherwise.
