Very frustrating!
That said do you think you would have done it differently in his(?) shoes?
It seems there is no upside for him in “believing” you, and only downside if you happen to be wrong and he mistreats your son? -
Not exactly related but your anecdote reminded me of one of my foreign colleagues who was (in his opinion) misdiagnosed by a doctor here in Japan. He went a few weeks later to another clinic to try and get a second opinion... only to find that same Japanese doctor there
