One of our first bad reviews came from a Lambda School student who called us a cult because we were bought into the “completely unrealistic” goal of “creating thousands of future Lambda School millionaires.” Now that doesn’t even feel ambitious. Can we do that in a year?

I would not recommend the book to most people reading this comment, but summary of findings: https://www.debtfreedr.com/the-millionaire-next-door/ …pic.twitter.com/wlTJMtRrZ1

"Why not?" Because while there was interesting sociological work the book doesn't have a comparative advantage over Ramit's I Will Teach You To Be Rich for people working in the tech industry, and you *probably* have more interesting goals.

I have something to say about how much a million dollars is actually worth in 2019, but I don’t want to be pilloried by Twitter.

Suffice it to say that I think the cornerstone of any progressive, middle class focused poloticL campaign should be “why aren’t you retiring as a millionaire?”
