Sometimes I wonder why UberEats doesn’t offer like a $3 one-off discount for recording a one-minute video of accessing one’s building from the street. Seems like it would solve *so many* ops problems.

Our old office, but if I saw someone with Mission Impossible gloves geckoed to the window of our lunchroom I’d say “Yep that’s probably an UberEats courier.”

In my building, delivery people sometimes sneak in the front door (tailgating etc) because they don't want to take the time to buzz someone. Then they arrive at the elevator which won't let them onto the floor they want because they don't have a key and weren't buzzed in.

I've wondered from time to time whether we should have signs up saying "don't try to sneak in; you'll just get stuck in the elevator" but I've always settled on "if they try that they deserve the consequences".
