I feel that my answer on this evolved over the course of my entrepreneurial career, partly as I achieved goals, partly as I got line of sight to larger targets, partly as my values changed, and partly as I was affected by people who were peers or otherwise influential in thought.

I remember years where wild success was: $200 a month Quitting my day job Making $100k for the year Building something incredible And if I were doing another company today it would probably be phrased in terms of systemic impact on my community.

Ironically if you gave me at age 37 an option with 100% chance of hitting my goals from age 24, 27, 30, or 33 for the next adventure I’d probably be almost totally uninterested in that relative to non-magical options.

What are “magical options” here? I don’t understand, but I can feel there’s something inspiring here

The hypothesized thing which had no execution risk and 100% chance of success, which is true only of magic.
