Seeing a lot more companies doing a "paid sprint" where you work at a company for a little while instead of whiteboard interviews. Seems like a vastly superior way to hire.

@patio11, here. To his list, I'll add: 5) It seriously compromises a candidate's ability to secure and compare offers from other companies, effectively reducing their available choices within their timeline. -
Have been suffering from a list of shorter periods of work, and clearly agree about the risks related to the shorter periods on a CV. It makes future job search & recruitment processes much more painful. Also: company outsourced the risk to employees.

@patio11 . The best way is to ask candidates to run a short pre-employment assessment for skills and attitude.
