(In no small part because they do the hardest part of Starfighter, the part that I was utterly unsuccessful in doing, with the difficulty setting tweaked to hard mode... as an implementation detail like 5th down the list of worthy hard problems. And make it look easy.)

It's rather cool. I'm asking myself for quite some time if something like this could be achieved for people that can't or don't want to become software developers.

Totally agree. One thing that cannot be underestimated is the power unleashed by enabling people to take more risks (entrepreneurial). Indeed (at least in my case) the new default worst case scenario, if things don't pan out, is to go to

yeah this is exactly what devbootcamp did for me. Was barely making cad$25k/year before, and it allowed me to move to sf and get a job at 65k, 90k, 120k and so on! Those are truly great opportunities for people willing to put in the effort.

@LambdaSchool had existed ~20 years ago I'm pretty sure I'd have signed up. Hell, if they ran something where I could continue to work *and* take their course I probably still would, and I (somehow) already have my foot in the proverbial tech door. -
