Currently dogfooding upgrading my Stripe integration, because we should have to go through as least as many hoops as customers do. Including, in this case, “Ahh joys of maintenance programming this is on Rails 3.2.x I wonder what is going to go wrong when I bump the library.”

I'm happy to report that literally nothing broke on the Stripe API or ruby bindings or their dependencies when doing a jump from stripe-ruby 1.8.3 to 4.12.0. I did spend a lot of time reacquainting myself with 2012 me's organizational choices and disdain for functioning tests.
