I think we’re going to see *a lot* more companies shaped like http://www.zeusliving.com , where they are not just Internet-enabled frontends on underlying property management but eat the interesting parts of the underlying stack.
Any particular companies come to mind there? (Just curious; happy to hear over email if it would be socially contentious.)

@EverCharge is a good example. Also, my impression is that most large startups / recent IPOs are mostly focused on this. Like, when was the last time Workday or Gusto or Greenhouse overhauled their UI? (maybe Stripe? You'd know better than me, I'm not even a customer rn). -
I may be overstating how much of, eg, the HR stack isn't already software-driven. But I do think that there's a long tail of features in most industries that are largely invisible software, and they show up in the UI as "now we have a checkbox for GDPR compliance!" or similar
